James graduated in 1991, and founded F+P in 2000.
As a Project Director, he specialises within the fields of commercial, mixed use, hospitality, education and residential projects.
While most widely known as a designer, James also brings vast knowledge, expertise, and business acumen to ensure outstanding design excellence and high economic value for clients.
James aims to balance design solutions for ‘place’ with practicality in fit for people and the environment.
It is an approach more aligned to engineering than the high aesthetic ground, James is not unconcerned about the aesthetic outcome, instead, he sees this as more a result of good thinking than as a goal in and of itself.
