73 Miller Street, North Sydney

73 Miller was conceived as a radical repositioning of a tired 1980’s office building, creating a contemporary desirable workspace while adding quality, sustainable space to the building.

We worked with ESR and an excellent team of consultants and builders to deliver a completely reimagined design proposition taking an anonymous building and creating a considered and positive street corner.

The solution split the building into a top, middle and bottom composition. The central form presents a curved street face and a paired rear façade which meet at recessed sheer glazed faces on the 45 degree corner forms.

At street level the design brings the lobby to the street engaging the footpath with a dramatic timber ceiling linking the lifts to the kerb line. A recreated pedestrian lane opens up views of the heritage listed Greenwood hotel and partners it with the potential of a high amenity F+B precinct.
