Liverpool Health & Academic Precinct

Liverpool Health & Academic Precinct (LHAP) will establish Liverpool Hospital as a leading integrated health facility, creating a foundation for world-class clinical expertise, innovation, research and technological advancements to continually improve the delivery of quality healthcare for greater Sydney.

As one of the largest Health Infrastructure projects in NSW, LHAP comprises a new major clinical building constructed over two primary stages, refurbishment of existing buildings, demolition works and site works that includes a new 800-vehicle MSCP.

The project includes clinical infrastructure to expand, enhance and optimise current capacity in addition to increasing in-patient capacity and associated support, retail, education and research facilities.

Key to the project was the need to develop a precinct master plan beyond the traditional borders of the hospital to foster the growth of the emerging Liverpool Innovation Precinct (LIP) and enable connection and collaboration with partner institutions and adjacent land owners.
